IMM supported the “Let's Children Go to School by Bicycle” campaign. In order to promote the use of bicycles in urban transportation, 200 middle school students went to their homes by bicycle.

“Come on Kids to School by Bicycle” activity was organized between 23-27 September by IMM Directorate of Youth and Sports. The organization was held in Küçükçekmece Atatürk Secondary School, Başakşehir Oyakkent Secondary School, Üsküdar Ali Fuat Başgil İmam Hatip Secondary School and Sancaktepe 75. Yıl Cumhuriyet Secondary School, which were determined among the schools that were distributed by İBB's Pedalist Project.
In this context, 200 middle school students went to their homes by bicycle. IMM police and health teams accompanied by children, safety-related roads used traffic closed. When the students came to the school, they were awarded with medals and various gifts to commemorate the day. Stating that they love cycling, the children said that they were happy with the activity and that they were doing sports and having fun.
The project “Let's Go to Kids by Bicycle” was carried out to emphasize the importance of bicycle use in urban transportation and to promote the use of bicycle as an effective means of transportation.
