Samsun Metropolitan Municipality SAMULAŞ has added a new training program for the personnel within the Academy it has created. SAMULAŞ staff underwent 'Empathy Training' within the scope of 'Education Training'
Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Project Transportation Reconstruction Construction Yat. Singing. ve Tic. A.Ş. (SAMULAŞ) continues its SAMULAS ACADEMY trainings, which it started in line with the principle of "Quality in service in all areas of transportation". In the Empathy Training organized within the scope of 'Trainer Trainings', the difficulties experienced by SAMULAŞ personnel while getting on and off the transportation vehicles of disabled people were shown in a practical way.
TRAUMA AND BUS APPLICATIONS
In the SAMULAŞ Headquarters Academy Hall, firstly, the trainings addressed the positive attitudes towards disabled citizens by explaining the importance of 'Empathy' and 'İletişim' by the expert trainer, and then continued on the field. The 16 SAMULAŞ staff who were trained started to work within the institution's service building and practically saw the difficulties faced by disabled citizens in trams and buses and what to do against them.
EMPATHY AND COMMUNICATION IN WORK LIFE
Stating that the trainings for the personnel continue within the scope of SAMULAŞ Academy, General Manager Enver Sedat Tamgacı said, “Finally, we carried out 'Empathy' training for our staff. In this training, which is a first in the institution in terms of its subject matter, our staff learned the importance of empathy and communication and making empathy a part of their business life. In addition, our staff carried out a very successful application in the field in order to understand the difficulties of disabled individuals in transportation vehicles connected to SAMULAŞ and to learn the necessary measures to be taken for its solution. ”

Stating that they aim to develop faster and more effective solutions by understanding the feelings and thoughts of the other person thanks to Empathy Training, SAMULAŞ General Manager Enver Sedat Tamgacı said, “Thanks to such trainings, employees are known to be more successful in their normal and business life. Thus, SAMULAŞ employees will be much more efficient in reaching our company's goals. The positive approach of our employees, especially for disabled citizens, is very important, since empathy with the first condition of correct communication is to put ourselves in its place. ”
TRAINING TO BUS Drivers
SAMULAŞ employees, on the other hand, expressed their satisfaction with the 'Trainers' Trainings,' We did not realize that our disabled citizens had such difficulties in transportation vehicles. We will work to raise awareness and train all our bus drivers in this direction. We now understand our disabled siblings much better. As SAMULAŞ, we believe that we will help them much more than we have ever been. ”
