Izmir Istanbul Motorway to be opened
Geb Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir (Including Izmit Bay Crossing and Connection Roads) Motorway Project, which was tendered with Build-Operate-Transfer Model;;
- Between Bursa Ring Road West Junction and Balıkesir North Junction (Km: 104 + 535-201 + 380) within the Bursa Ring Road Interchange (Balıkesir-Edremit) Section,
- (Balıkesir Edremit) between İzmir West Crossroad and Akhisar Crossroad (Km: 232 + 000: İ-315 + 114)

1- These sections of the motorway will be opened to traffic at 04.08.2019: 23: 59 date and time.
2- Motorway entry and exit is prohibited except in certain places (Crossroads, Toll Collecting Stations etc.) and conditions. It is forbidden to open, demolish, cut, and otherwise destroy these barriers, since wire lines or walls installed along the road boundary line are installed to prevent such exits.
3- Access to this section, which is opened to traffic as a controlled highway, pedestrians, animals, motorized vehicles, rubber wheeled tractors, construction machinery and bicyclists are prohibited from entering.
4- The minimum required speed is 40 km / h and the maximum speed is the limits allowed by geometric standards. (Max. 120 km./hr)
5- It is forbidden to stop, park, return and go back in this section and intersections which are opened to traffic as Accessible Highway. In obligatory cases, the right-most safety band (Bank) can be used.
6- If the establishments that have a façade of the motorway want to put identification plates in their buildings, they should obtain permission from the General Directorate of Highways and the Company in charge.
7- Geb Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir (Including Izmit Bay Crossing and Connection Roads) Motorway Project, which was tendered with Build-Operate-Transfer Model;; Bursa Interchange West Junction- (BalıkesirEdremit) Within the Junction of Bursa Intermediate West Junction and Balıkesir North Junction (Km: 104 + 535-201 + 380), (Balıkesir-Edremit) Junction of Balıkesir West Junction and Akhisar Junction (Km) (232 + 000: İ-315 + 114) will be carried out by the Contracting Company in accordance with the contract for construction, maintenance and operation.
