CHP Niğde Deputy Ömer Fethi Gürer directed by the Niğde-Ankara Highway project in response to a written question proposal, Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Cahit Turhan'dan came.

CHP Niğde deputy Ömer Fethi Gürer, with the request to be answered, “Is there any work planned for Niğde-Ankara highway works for earth works and art structures in Niğde province in 2018? If so, which department is it planned to do? How much allowance has been allocated to this planning? How much of this allowance has been used? Is there any allowance allocated for Niğde start section in Niğde-Ankara highway construction for 2019 year? If so, how much is this allowance? Which service is planned for. What service is allocated for the appropriation allocated in this budget year, what percentage is it intended to be realized? Have the activities started for the 2019 year in the other sections of the Niğde-Ankara motorway project except Gölbaşı? How much is the budget allocated for these sections? Have the companies that have been awarded tenders in accordance with the Build and Operate Model, have started working in these departments? If the companies started to work, in which departments did they start to work? If there is no study, what is the reason why the study does not start? When will the work begin?.

Responding to the questions of CHP MP Ömer Fethi Gürer, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Mehmet Cahit Turhan said that the Ankara-Niğde Highway Project is 330 km long and that 31 km is located within the province of Niğde. The highway; Turhan gave information that starts from Gölbaşı district of Ankara and ends at the junction of Niğde Gölcük. With the construction of the Ankara-Niğde Highway, the connection between the Marmara, Black Sea and Mediterranean Regions will be ensured, and the missing part of the Trans-EuropenMotonvay (TEM) highway, one of the most important transportation networks of the Eurasian region, will be completed.

The loan agreement with the Build-Operate-Transfer Model (BOT) method started construction in all sections of the Ankara Niğde Highway, which was signed on 07.06.2018, and since it was made with the BOT model, no appropriation is allocated from the Budget.

According to the agreement, it is aimed that the 38,7 km of the Ankara-Niğde Highway will be completed in 2019, the 139,3 km will be completed in 2020, and the 152 km will be completed in 2021. ”
