Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which considers public health, is conducting disinfection and disinfection work on EGO buses for citizens to travel in a clean and hygienic environment.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which aims to ensure that the citizens of the capital city reach in healthy conditions, pays attention to cleaning the EGO buses used by approximately 800 thousand passengers every day.
FIRST HYGIENE
Disinfection works are carried out meticulously by the teams of Environmental Protection and Control Department during the night hours when buses leave the service.
Passenger seats in the interior of the EGO buses, especially the rear-lower parts of the seats, buttons, passenger handles, glass edges and ventilation covers are disinfected against viruses that may cause epidemic diseases.
Buses controlled by ATP bacteria meter are sprayed until the negative values are reset. Disinfection works with odorless products which are approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health and which do not harm the environment and human health are carried out regularly.
In addition to spraying activities within the scope of healthy urban practices, cleaning and washing works in public transportation vehicles are continuing.
