Minister of Transport and Infrastructure M.Cahit Turhan stated that 3,7 million passengers received service from airports during Eid al-Adha, 4,1 million passengers preferred by bus and 2,5 million citizens preferred to travel by train.

Turhan said that the bus companies engaged in intercity passenger transportation during the Bayram holiday carried 270 thousand 670 passengers and carried a total of 4 million 163 thousand 934 passengers.

Pointing out the proportion of the passengers carried by the city population, Turhan stated that 8 percent of Karabük and Yalova left the city by bus.
