With this project, we will provide a more convenient transportation to the ports in the Eastern Black Sea Region to eastern Anatolia and the border gates of our neighbors in the East and Southeast. Another important structure of this project, which will contribute to the economy and development of the region, is the Broken Tunnel between İspir and Aşkale. We have achieved a 55 percent improvement in the Broken Tunnel. When the Broken Tunnel is built, our province of Erzurum will fall to 220 kilometers from Rize.
