Automobile production in the period in question decreased by 12 percent to 492 thousand 700. In the same period, with the production of tractors, the total production was 745 thousand 632 units.
In the first half of the year, the contraction in commercial vehicle production continued mainly due to the contraction in the domestic market. In the January-June period, total commercial vehicle production decreased by 15, heavy commercial vehicle production decreased by 30 and light commercial vehicle production decreased by 14.
AUTOMOTIVE MARKET INCREASED 45 PERCENT
In the January-June period of this year, the total market was 45 thousand 200, decreasing by 901 percent compared to the same period last year. During this period, the automobile market decreased by 43 percent and amounted to 156 thousand 378 units. During the period in question, the commercial vehicle market decreased by 51, the light commercial vehicle market by 50 and the heavy commercial vehicle market by 56.
In the January-June period of this year, the share of imports in the automobile market was 56. In the period in question, total car sales decreased by 43 percent, imported car sales by 52 percent and domestic car sales by 26 percent.
