The research proposal for the "Investigation of Train Accidents" submitted to the Parliament by IYİ Party Isparta Deputy Aylin Cesur was rejected by the votes of AKP and MHP.
İYİ Party Isparta Deputy Aylin Cesur gave a parliamentary question to the Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly for the "investigation of train accidents".
The statement used the following statements: ”As a result of two train accidents that occurred recently in 2018, 34 citizens were killed and 387 were injured. Failure to clearly explain the causes of these train accidents, which resulted in disaster by the relevant and authorized institutions, caused information confusion regarding the issue in the press and the public. Losses of life, injuries and material damage caused by train accidents in recent years create public unrest and reduce trust in railway transportation.
In order to investigate the deficiencies and omissions that cause train accidents and prevent injuries that cause irreparable train accidents, to identify the authorities, personnel and persons causing negligence and deficiencies, a Parliamentary Survey is opened in accordance with Articles 98 and Rule 104 and 105 of the Constitution. "
AKP AND MHP OBSTACLES
The research proposal submitted by the IYI Party was rejected after the AKP and MHP deputies voted.
