Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyerhas added a new one to its projects for public transportation. Soyer, who met with the staff during his visit to the ESHOT General Directorate in the past weeks, stated that the only shortcoming of ESHOT, which successfully fulfills a very difficult task as an institution, is female drivers. Expressing that the presence of women at the wheel of public transportation vehicles will reflect positively on relations with citizens, this instruction of President Soyer is now being implemented. ESHOT General Directorate applied to İŞKUR to employ 100 female drivers meeting the necessary conditions through the municipality's İZELMAN company.
In Turkey Business Authority's website (: www.iskur.gov.tr) According to the published job announcement, candidates who have not reached the age of 40 and have at least a primary school graduate D class or an E class driver's license obtained before 2016 will be evaluated. Firstly, candidates with at least 1 year of experience will be employed.
In addition, the candidates who have successfully completed the ı On-the-Job Training Program ı of ISKUR will be employed for the candidates who do not have 1 years of experience.
