Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, continues to work to ease the transportation of citizens living in neighborhoods. In this context, the construction of bridges and connecting roads to the alternative road between Karamürsel district center and Semetler Village is continuing. Insulation is being produced on the floor of the bridge where the distance between the town center and Semetler village will be shortened by 14 kilometers.
THE LAST LAYER WILL SPREAD THE ASPHALT MONDAY
Semetler Bridge, where the insulation works on the pavement and on the deck continues, the final layer of asphalt will be laid. Afterwards, stone curtain wall construction will be started in order to prevent the feet from being affected by water in the works where bridge railing will be produced. The bridge is scheduled to begin serving citizens in July.
60 METER STREET BRIDGE
The construction of bridges and connecting roads on the alternative road is continuing to provide more comfortable transportation between Karamürsel and Semetler village. Within the scope of the project, two span 2 meter long river bridges with 1 sides and 60 middle legs are being built. Within the scope of the project, 310 meter road construction, 3 thousand cubic meters of excavation work, thousand cubic meters of ready-mixed concrete and 300 tons of ribbed reinforcement steel will be made.
BRIDGE BEAMS
Within the scope of the project, thousand 100 tons of asphalt pavement, 858 meter forecile and 765 square meter curtain will be produced. Rain water infrastructure will be established in the project 350 meter connection road will be built. 16 30 meters of precast beams were also placed in the works where the bridge legs were finished. Excavation and filling works are continuing in the project, where the bridge is being manufactured.
