Directorate of Rail Systems Department Rail Systems Projects Directorate, Umraniye and Sancaktepe passed through the Hospital - Imes Metro Line to take action.
The IMM Rail System Department plans to establish the Sarıgazi - Türkiş Blocks Metro Line, consisting of a total of 3 stations, between the Hospital and İMES Stations within the boundaries of Ümraniye and Sancaktepe districts. The cost of the 5.1 km long line is calculated as 990 million TL.
Prevent name confusion
The Sarıgazi - Türkiş Blocks Metro Line Project, which is planned to achieve more permanent solutions and innovations in transportation, was re-evaluated by studying new route alternatives during the preliminary project phase, and the route alternative that connects the current Hospital Station and İMES Station was chosen.
This line, which will be the extension of the Yenidogan - Sarigazi - Hospital Metro Line (Phase 1), will start after the Hospital Station, the last station of the mentioned line, and will be completed at İMES, the last station of the business scope, following the intermediate two stations, the final projects of which will be prepared. (Stage 2),
Its name will be Hospital - İmes Metro Line
The subway line will be integrated with the IMES station, which is located in the north, with the route revision made within the scope of the project works, instead of providing the Dudullu Bostancı Metro Line, which is under construction as integrated into the transportation plans, with the Turkis Blocks Station.
This line will be the extension of the ”Yenidoğan -Sarıgazi-Hospital Metro Line m (1. Stage) in order not to cause any confusion within the report, and it will be called Hastane Hospital-IMES Metro Line“ (2. Stage). Within the scope of this project, preliminary projects of the extension line (3. Stage) which will reach Soyak Yenişehir with the two stations following IMES Station and which will be integrated with Ümraniye-Ataşehir-Göztepe Metro Line were prepared.
Service at 2022
It is planned to start the construction phase of Sarıgazi-Türkiş Blocks Subway Line Project at 2019 and to start the operation in 2022. The line will be located on the Anatolian side of the Istanbul Metropolitan Area. With the project 2038 in 228.923, the annual 83.556.993 passenger will be transported.
Lines
“Yenidogan - Tasdelen - Sarigazi (Hospital) - IMES - Soyak Yenisehir Metro Line” stretches in the east-west direction and continues in the north-south direction;
Dudullu – Bostancı Metro Line integrated in İMES station, Ümraniye-Ataşehir-Göztepe Metro Line integrated in Soyak Yenişehir station; On the other hand, extending in east-west direction; Üsküdar - Ümraniye - Çekmeköy - Sancaktepe Metro Line planned to be constructed Kadıköy- It will create the public transportation infrastructure in the region between Sultanbeyli Metro Line.
In this way, transfer facilities between the corridors will be provided.

- Etap, IMES - Soyak Yenişehir (In the preliminary project phase) Line length - 3,8 km.
Yenidogan - Tasdelen - Sarigazi (Hospital) - IMES - Soyak Yenisehir metro line is planned to be operational in 2022 with all its stages, and the 1st Stage is planned to open in 2019.
Where will the stations be located?
Station 1
It is located in the area known as Teletaş Facilities on Esenkent Kurtuluş and Şah Cihan Street, within the boundaries of private property. The area where the station is located is a region with 3-4 storey construction and industry. It is an open & close type station, which is the first stop of the Metro Line. The distance between the lines is 14,7 meters and the length of the platform is 100 meters. The station rail elevation is + 131.158 and is located at an average depth of 26 meters from the surface.
Station 2
Organized Industrial Zone in the Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone. Street and Organize OSB 1. It is located on the parking lot at the intersection of the street. It is a shaft type station which is the second stop of the Metro Line. The clearance between the lines is 3 meters and the platform length is 54 meters. Station rail elevation is + 100 and is located at an average depth of 104.814 meters.
Station 3
It is located on Mehmet Şen Street, which overlooks the E-gate of the site within the IMES Industrial Site. It is a shaft type station which is the third stop of Metro Line. The clearance between the lines is 54 meters and the platform length is 100 meters. Station rail elevation is + 96.598 and is located at an average depth of 47 meters from the surface.
