Indicating that the Istanbul Airport was open to winds coming directly from the sea, Aygun pointed out in the 2014rd Istanbul Technical Report of the Istanbul Provincial Coordination Board of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Architects and Engineers (TMMOB) in December 3:
