Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues to work to relieve the transportation network at the necessary points of the city. Within this scope, a roundabout work was carried out to ease the access to the Kocaeli Convention Center, which was established in the area of the old metal factory Mannesman. Completed intersection, as well as traffic to the congress center to relieve the citizens of the great comfort.
TO REDUCE TRAFFIC DENSITY
The congress center, which will unite Sekapark's 1 and 2 stage, will be home to large organizations. The Metropolitan Municipality has built a roundabout in front of Mannesman area on the old metal factory on Salim Dervişoğlu Avenue.
RETURNS RIDED
30 meter inner diameter and 500 meter median curbstone production were carried out within the roundabout where the works were completed. In addition, 500 cubic meter stone material was used in the construction of the stone wall for the intersection. With the intersection study of the Metropolitan, Salim Dervişoğlu Street was relieved to return to the convention center's parking lot. In addition, this roundabout allows the city center and many other vehicles to turn around comfortably.
650 VEHICLE PARKING
With the transformation of the Mannesman factory into the Convention Center, Sekapark is becoming a whole. The Congress Center, which will respond to the needs of Kocaeli with all its equipment, will be the center of attraction in cultural events. When the project is completed, it will be possible to reach the congress center by tram, pedestrian and vehicle. The convention center will also have an outdoor car park for 650 cars.
