DHMI Announces Passenger, Aircraft and Cargo Numbers in February

The General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) announced the air traffic, passenger and freight statistics for February on 2019.

Accordingly, in February 2019;

Aircraft traffic that landed and took off at airports was 60.198 on domestic and 37.037 on international flights. Overflight traffic was 33.253 in the same month. Thus, the total aircraft traffic served on the airline reached 130.488 with overpasses.

Airports across Turkey this month 7.618.937 domestic passenger traffic, while international passenger traffic was 5.131.874. Thus, total passenger traffic along with direct transit passengers was realized as 12.764.699.

Airport traffic (cargo, mail and baggage) traffic; As of February, 62.061 tons reached to 191.721 tones on international lines and 253.782 tons on international lines.

As of the end of February (2019 monthly realizations) of 2;

Aircraft traffic that landed and departed at airports was 123.464 on domestic flights and 78.462 on international flights. In the same period, overflight traffic was 70.741. Thus, the total aircraft traffic served on the airline reached 272.667 with overpasses.

Domestic passenger traffic in airports across Turkey in this period 16.196.817, while international passenger traffic was 10.601.637. Thus, the total passenger traffic along with direct transit passengers was realized as 26.832.758.
