President Tekintaş thanked President Erdoğan for opening the 1st stage of the road on Sunday, stating that they are happy with the opening of the 1st stage of the ring road, which the Armies have been waiting for years. Noting that they have seen very serious relief in the city traffic since the first stage of the road was opened, Mayor Engin Tekintaş said, “In the 1st stage of Ordu Ring Road, Boztepe Tunnel is 1 thousand 3 meters and Öceli Tunnel is 300 thousand 2 meters long. Thanks to these tunnels, the city passes in 30 minutes, this time has now fallen to 40 minutes. ”

DAILY 125 THOUSAND VEHICLES FROM THE CITY CENTER IN SUMMER

Expressing that the second stage of the road is aimed to be completed in a short time, Mayor Tekintaş said, “After the completion of the road, the traffic in Ordu city center will be more relaxed. Not only vehicle traffic, but also pedestrian traffic will be relieved. During the summer, the number of vehicles passing through Ordu can reach up to 125 thousand per day. Considering this number, the importance of the road becomes more apparent. ”

A GREAT FUEL SAVING WILL BE GIVEN

President Engin Tekintaş stated that the ring road, the foundation of which was laid in 2011, is a very beautiful work, adding that the road saves the drivers fuel as well as saving time, thus making a great contribution economically.
