Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is carrying out important projects to make the main arteries in the city fluent. In this context, new intersections are carried out in D-100 and D-130 and the roads are being transformed. D-130'da Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department, the Gölcük Yüzbaşılar district is doing a bridge junction. The traffic will be lifted in the region and the traffic will be improved. At the Captives Junction, where the works continue intensively, the concrete is poured onto the beams. The captains' intersection will be opened soon and the service is aimed at providing citizens.

TABLE MEETING ON BEAMS CAUSED
In the ongoing project, the installation of the 192 beam of the bridge was completed. The works of the culvert made for the stream under the intersection were also completed. 85 beams were installed in the project where the 192 of the earthworks was completed. In the project, concrete is now being casted on the beams placed between the legs. Within the scope of the project, electrical infrastructure, pavement, asphalt paving and other construction works are continuing on the side roads. In the project where highway drainage continued, the retaining wall built by the Naval Air Base Command was also completed. In addition, excavations are continuing on the way down to the Junction of the Captains Junction.

IŞIKLAR KALKACAK
When the intersection project in D-130 is completed, the area where traffic density is generated by the vehicles which are mainly engaged in intercity transportation will take a sigh of relief. Gölcük-2, after the interchange of Değirmendere Interchange, capitals will transit traffic in the region. After the Gölcük-2 intersection, the captains' capitals, which are controlled by the traffic lights, will be relieved by a bridge intersection.

RETURNS UNDER BRIDGE
The main road traffic passing through Değirmendere and Gölcük-130 intersections on İzmit-Yalova highway (D-2), will be provided at the location of the capitals by the completion of the project. The project will eliminate the traffic lights in the capitals. Yalova and Izmit direction turns will be made at the roundabout under the bridge.

190 METER BRIDGE
Within the scope of the project, 190 meter-length, 8 span bridging simple beam bridge with preloaded. By providing transparency in the intersection area, the perimeter settlements are kept at the bridge length for a safe, secure area with a roundabout under the bridge.
