Minister Turhan, at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, ​​Spain, ULAK Communication Inc. participated in the signing ceremony of the "ULAK Base Station Supply Agreement" between Turkcell and Turkcell.

In his speech, Turhan said that the ULAK Project was developed by ASELSAN, Netaş and Argela companies, entirely by Turkish engineers with national and local opportunities, under the coordination of the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of Industry.

Turhan said that the aim of ULAK Project is to establish secure communication infrastructures with national facilities and to take place among the countries that have a say in these technologies by gaining the ability of advanced technology product development. reported.

Turhan said that they aim to produce all the infrastructure technology needed in the field of mobile communication with domestic and national facilities by further developing the works started with the development and production of 4,5G base stations with ULAK Project.

Emphasizing that as the Ministry, they will continue to be behind every product produced with domestic and national facilities, “We continue to support domestic production by using ULAK in rural areas in broadband mobile infrastructures established under the Universal Service Law with public investments.” he spoke.

Reminding that ULAK base stations are being used by commercial operators as well, Turhan said that the ULAK Base Station Ordering Agreement signed today will bring a new breath to these developments.

Turhan congratulated the executives of ULAK Communications Inc. and Turkcell İletişim Hizmetleri AŞ, which are parties to the contract.
