With the Transportation Master Plan, which determines the transportation model of Bursa in 2035, two new rail system lines will be established.

Many projects such as Çalı, Görükle, Yunuseli, Otogar and Demirtaş are planned to meet with the rail system. The plan will be presented to the parliament today.

Details of the 2035 Transportation Master Plan, prepared by the Metropolitan Municipality with the aim of solving the transportation problem, have been revealed. It will be presented to the approval of the council members in the second session of the Metropolitan Municipality Council, which will take place today. While the project envisaged targets such as reducing dependence on cars, expanding the fast and high-capacity public transportation network, promoting non-motorized transportation, meeting the need for access, and protecting the environment, the prepared plan was finalized by collecting many data. With the new transportation model in which regions where employment areas will increase in the future are calculated; By reducing the traffic density in the main arteries, it is aimed to overcome problems such as insufficient capacity of the rail system.

According to the new proposals for the rail system; The City Hospital-Emek-Arabayatağı route, which will constitute the first line, will consist of 22.7 kilometers and 24 stations. With this line; Transportation will be provided to the City Hospital, which is planned to serve this year, and the high-speed train station planned to be built. The Gorukle-University-Kestel route, which will form the second line, will serve with a length of 43 km and 41 stations. The line, which is currently the last stop of the University, will extend to Görgülü, Kızılcıklı and Başköy Industry. The third route, which will form the Çalı-Acemler-Gürsu Line, will cover Beşevler Küçük Sanayi Sitesi and Çalı stations from Acemler Station. The line, which is planned to serve with 3 stations with a length of 28.8 km, will provide transportation from Beşevler, Çekirge, Cumhuriyet streets and Mesken to Gürsu.

LINE IN THE LENGTH OF 114 KM…
The 20.7th line, which will serve with 17 kilometers and 4 stations, will form the Çalı-Fatih Sultan Mehmet-Demirtaş route. With this line, Yunuseli, Intercity Bus Terminal and Demirtaş will also meet the rail system. According to the planned rail system model; In 2035, 114.4 million 1 thousand 322 passengers will be transported daily in Bursa with a 496 km long line. A total of 1 km extension lines will be created from the ends of the HAT2 and HAT18.9 lines. After 2035, the vehicles on the existing light rail lines will be transformed into metro vehicles. The T2 Line will be integrated with the rail systems in the city center.

3 MAIN TRANSFER CENTER
In addition to the rail systems, the public transport arrangements with rubber wheels were included in the 2035 plan. Park at the points planned with transfer centers, continue, there will be a car park, bicycle parking, road and smart bike station around the transfer center car park, stop and station. According to this; 3 main transfer centers with high passenger density; Novices will be deployed around Kent Square and Bus Station stations. They will have service and commercial functions, office-business centers and city squares. Beside the main transfer centers, there will be 5 transfer centers in Gar, Esentepe, University, Altınşehir and Gürsu. In addition, there are 10 transfer points and 37 park-continue transfer areas.

MINIBUSES WILL BE SMARTED ...
The 2035 plan will also have radical arrangements for minibuses. According to the plan, the vans will become institutionalized over time and transition to the smart card system. While minibuses are converted into taxis, wages will be reduced and electric vehicles will come to the fore. Call centers will be established and a special taxi design will be made for the city. Bicycle paths, which are 35.6 kilometers, will be increased to 104 kilometers in the short term and 238.6 kilometers in the medium-long term.
