Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will construct a nostalgic tramway line between 10 and 500 thousand pounds in Istanbul Esenler, between Yildiz Technical University Davutpasa Campus and AtisIazI Street.

SPOKESMANAccording to the report of Özlem GÜVEMLİ from, “Esenler Nostalgic Tram Line” project, which is planned to be built by IMM Rail Systems Department, was presented to the Governorship of Istanbul. The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process of the project approved by the Governorate started today. According to the information in the project introduction file, the cost of the 2.2 km long tram line will be 10 million 500 thousand TL.

FIRST STOP Ü YTÜ DAVUTPAŞA “CAMPUS

The tram line will be located in Esenler, Atışalani Caddesi and Davutpaşa Caddesi, in the region with high business and residential volume. It is planned to carry out uninterrupted, comfortable and safe passenger transportation in Atışalanı Caddesi and Davutpaşa Caddesi, a region where there is a high density of employee and student population. The line will start from Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus and continue along Davutpaşa Street and pass through the pedestrianized area in the city center and continue along Atışalani Street. Continuing towards the O-3 highway connection, the line will end with the warehouse and maintenance building located in this area.

TRAMVAY 5 DURAK

The planned line is designed to fit the existing road because it will be in mixed traffic with pedestrians and road. 5 stalls and a storage place were planned on the line. The tram line will be made as a single line. The line is intended to be completed within 1 years. Although the project was yer nostalgic al, there was no data in this introductory file on this route. In the file, the use of the tram photograph working between Taksim-Tunnel as a project image attracted attention.
