The strike that started at workplaces affiliated with İZBAN A.Ş. on December 10, 2018 was postponed for 60 days with the decision of President Erdoğan.
According to the decision published in the Official Journal of the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed, "Izmir Commuter Transportation System Trading Joint Stock Company connected workplaces in Turkey are being implemented by the Railway Workers' Union with the strike, Local Public Transport Services that seen in Destructive Nature decided to Sixty Days of Postponement". The decision was taken in accordance with Article 6356 of the Law No. 63 on Trade Unions and Collective Bargaining.
