Passing from Balıkesir to Kütahya, the passenger train crashed into the construction equipment under the direction of İbrahim Atalay in the uncontrolled level crossing near the Demirciören village of Kütahya. 112 Emergency Service teams who came to the accident stated that Atalay, the driver of the machine, was killed.
Gendarmerie launched an investigation into the accident.
