Coşkun Albayrak, the driver of the minibus, who hit the locomotive with no wagon behind him, was seriously injured in the level crossing of Banaz district of Uşak.
The accident occurred at about 12.00:64 yesterday, at the uncontrolled level crossing near Öksüz village of Banaz. The spare locomotive used by Machinist M.S, which goes from Banaz to Uşak direction and has no wagon behind it, hit a 985 FH XNUMX plate minibus under the direction of Coşkun Albayrak. The minibus, which was blown away by the impact, was able to stop by hitting the trees next to the level crossing. In the accident, the minibus driver was seriously injured.
The driver of the minibus, Albayrak, was taken to the Uşak Training and Research Hospital by 112 Emergency Service teams. It was learned that the driver was not at risk of life.
An investigation into the accident has begun.
