The Law Canceling Bridge Penalties Was Published in the Official Gazette

The Bridge Penalties will be deleted according to the Law on the Amendment of the Road Traffic Law and Certain Laws, which was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. It will be decided that there is no room for an ex officio decision on objections or filed lawsuits. The trial and follow-up expenses will be left on the parties and the attorney fee will not be charged. Collections made before the effective date of the item will be rejected and returned until March 28, 2019, if applied until February 29, 2019.

Within the scope of the regulation, approximately 26 million lira penalty collected with 744 notifications will be returned. In addition, the fines included in the Highway Traffic Law will not be increased in 20, and the revaluation rate will not be applied to the fines.

Although the law is forbidden to pass by vehicle classes, administrative fines will not be imposed on those passing through the July 2 Martyrs Bridge and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge until November 2016, 15, when this article comes into force. Penalties given will not be notified and collections will be given up.
