What doesn't mean the underground door warning lights?

With the opening of the first fully automatic driverless metro system of our country, M5 Üsküdar-Çekmeköy metro line, new information has been added to our public transportation culture.

In order to eliminate the problems that may occur due to foreign bodies falling into the rail track or passenger entry for any reason in driverless metros, Peron Separator Door Systems (PACS) are used. As with all electromechanical systems, malfunctions may occur for various reasons. These failures that may occur in both the gate doors and vehicle doors, may not interfere with the operation, but may cause the passengers to miss the station.

In order to maintain the high success rate of service quality in Metro Istanbul enterprises, it is important to inform the passengers in a timely manner. For this purpose, passengers are warned with red lights if the doors are not opened for any reason.

In order not to be victimized, the passengers who are going to get off the vehicle should not use red light burning doors and they should use white light burning doors. You can watch the video below.
