The work started on the Konya Bicycle Path ara Project which will provide continuous transportation between Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and Lara-Konyaaltı. With the project, the people of Antalya will be able to pedal easily from Konyaaltı to Lara by using the 28 kilometer bike path.

Line and road work
Within the scope of the project where the people of Antalya can be pedaled continuously on the bicycle paths from Konyaaltı to Lara, the Metropolitan Municipality firstly performs maintenance and repair work on the existing bicycle paths. Teams working on Milli Egemenlik, Teomanpaşa, Hasan Şubaşı Street, Düden Park and former Lara Road are painting on existing roads, drawing lines and warning signs.
Environmental and healthy means of transport
Bike Road Project, which is implemented in cooperation with Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı and Kepez Municipalities, will make the existing bicycle paths in the city center permanent and contribute to the environment and health. The bicycle does not have any negative effects on the environment such as noise and air pollution, but also aims to make a positive contribution to traffic.
With the contributions of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, a new bike path will be added to the existing 12 kilometer bike path in Muratpaşa district. Konyaaltı Beach and Muratpaşa Lara, one of the most famous beaches of the world, will be connected.
