In İZBAN, a joint venture of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and TCDD, the fourth-term collective bargaining agreement negotiations between the executives and the Turkish Railways-Labor Union were blocked, and the union posted a strike decision to all İZBAN stations and the head office building last week.

IZBAN employees of the railway-business member 10 announced that they will strike on December.

In TIS negotiations, which closely concern 342 workers in total, including machinists, technicians, technicians, station operators and box office workers, have not been agreed in 63 articles of the 24-article draft. Against the 27% hike demand of Demiryol-İş Union, İZBAN executives suggested an increase in inflation rate between 12-13 for inflation in the first year and inflation rate in the second year.
