Sincan Municipality, which will connect the two-kilometer tram line on Ayaş Street and the metro and Başkentray lines on two separate sides of the district, is preparing to sign a project like a revolution in terms of transportation to the district. Fatih Mahallesi and Sincan district center will be connected to each other by a 2 kilometer tram line via Ayaş Street. The tram line, which will serve as a bridge between the two important points of Sincan, will also connect the Sincan - Törekent Metro and Başkentray. Sincan Municipality, which will create a ring line for two different rail systems with another rail system, will thus connect the two different sides of the district.

Speaking to Ankara in the morning, Sincan Mayor Murat Ercan said, “This project is a project that we are considering to combine Başkentray with the metro. Of course, it is a very costly project. A project that is difficult for a district municipality to handle... We want to start this work with a two-kilometer line in the first place in order to both reveal our intention in this sense and add value to our district. This tram will connect the new square we will create in Sincan and Fatih Metro Station. Our work on the project continues at full speed.”

EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD WILL HAVE A RING

Stating that Sincan will not have any transportation problems in the near future, Sincan Mayor Murat Ercan said that Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is also planning to make ring services to the metro from all neighborhoods in the district. Stating that the preparations are continuing at full speed, Mayor Ercan said that they are in consultation with the Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Tuna regarding all kinds of transportation problems of the district. – morning
