Istanbul New Airport, the first phase of which will be opened on October 29, has been added to the flight destinations on the Turkish Airlines website and online ticket sales have begun.

Istanbul New Airport, the first phase of which will be put into service by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on October 29, took its place as one of the flight destinations on the website of Turkish Airlines.

Turkish Airlines started online ticket sales for flights from Istanbul New Airport. Citizens can search for all 3 airports in Istanbul, as well as make inquiries only for those to be built from the new airport.

While the new airport is included in the system with the code 'ISL', the flights on November 1 can be selected for the first commercial flight. Accordingly, the first time from the new airport will be held in Ankara on Thursday, November 1, at 11.10.

When the first phase of the THY is opened, there will be 5 departures and 5 landings per day, from the airport to Ankara, Izmir and Antalya.
