Excavations Started in Gebze-Darica Metro

Excavation work of the metro line to be built in Gebze by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has started. İlhan Bayram, the Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, who examined the works on the spot, received information from the authorities about the details of the project. Excavations are carried out to drive bored piles of 18 meters and 22 meters in length in the works starting on the Gebze-Darıca Metro line. "We started the excavation work of our metro line," said Secretary General Bayram.

FULL AUTOMATIC SYSTEM
Secretary General Bayram, who examined the metro line works in Gebze Kent Square together with Alaeddin Alkaç, Deputy Secretary General and Ömer Polat, Vice President Bayram, said, “The Gebze metro line, which will use a fully automatic subway, which consists of 4 vehicles, will have a capacity of 4 passengers. The driverless subway will be convenient for 1080-station, 12-kilometer line, 15,6-second intervals thanks to signaling equipment. It is planned to complete the 90 km metro line between Gebze and Darıca and complete it in 15.6 days. Transportation between Darica, Gebze and OIZs will be provided in 560 minutes. 19 kilometers of the line, 14,7 meters of the tunnel will be built as a level ”.

DRIVING METRO
