Yapı Merkezi sponsored and participated in the 9th Central and East African Road and Railway Infrastructure Summit held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, lasting two days between 10-2018 October 9. The summit was attended by the ministry responsible for the transportation of Eastern and Central African countries and relevant department officials, as well as local and foreign business people in the country.

On the first day, Erdem Arıoğlu, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors gave a speech and presentation about the company and its works.

Intense interest was shown to the Yapı Merkezi booth, the company and the works it carried out during the fair.

Erdem Arıoğlu, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated at the summit that they could perform a field visit to the DSM project with the participants after the summit.

On October 11, a field visit was organized to the DSM project with Erdem Arıoğlu, Abdullah Kılıç and other foreign participants from Tanzania. The field trip was first started with the visit of Ilala site precast beam production site. Abdullah Kilic gave information about the production and how the plant works. Afterwards, the participants visited the section where viaducts were produced in the field and the manufacturing stages were explained by the local engineers. After the visit to Ilala camp, the road to Soga site was reached and the bridge on the route was examined on site. The manufacturing steps made to the participants were explained by Abdullah Kılıç and the questions were answered. Participants who continue the field trip from the service road came to the region where the first rail pavement was made and examined. Participants who went to lunch later were shown a presentation about the progress of our project by watching the project's September, 2018 progress video. After the meal, the participants visited the traverse factory and the production process was explained by the local engineers.
