Ground Investigation in Istanbul Channel

According to the news of Eray GÖRGÜLÜ from Hürriyet, it was learned that the EIA report related to the project and the ground survey projects were completed and delivered to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. The tender is scheduled to take place at the end of November. While the work for the tender of Kanal Istanbul continues, the Yüksel Proje International Company, which received the ground survey project for 35 million TL last year, completed its work and delivered it to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. While the authorities of the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments within the Ministry continue their investigations on the study, the physical draft of the project has also been completed. Earthquake in Turkey, which generations in mind these risks, routes, 100 to pass through the channel, 500, 2 thousand 400 years of seismicity studies were performed. In this context, how many earthquakes the channel will withstand, the probability of earthquake-induced tsunami, the wind data study between the Black Sea and Marmara, and the ground and geological situation were also covered in this context. It has been learned that the preliminary EIA report, previously announced to the public by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission and Inspection (EIA), is finalized and will be shared with the public soon. The EIA report prepared by Çınar Engineering and Consulting Company included the views of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and the Governorship of Istanbul.
