A long-standing agenda Halkalı-Kapıkule Railway Project within the borders of the province of Istanbul, Tekirdag, Kirklareli and Edirne in many provinces and parcels were given a hasty expropriation decision.
According to the decision published by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the General Directorate of Turkish State Railways started to work in Arnavutköy in Istanbul, ÇerkezköyLüleburgaz, Babaeski, Pehlivanköy in Kırklareli and Havsa in Edirne and the immovables within the central boundaries of Edirne will be expropriated in a hurry.
EXPANDING UP TO PEHLİVANKÖY
Büyükkarıştıran New Mahalle'den Lüleburgaz to enter the boundaries of the railway project, Küçükkarıştıran, Evrensekiz Gundogan District, passing through the Kardzhali District Yenibedir D-100 Highway will cross the borders of Eskibedir. The route will be followed by Lüleburgaz TOKİ houses and will continue until the entrance of Durak Mahallesi.
The project route, which will pass through the entrance of Durak District according to the direction of Lüleburgaz, will pass from Türkgeldi, Sarmısaklı, Sarıcaali and Oklalı and enter the Babaeski boundaries in Psitreci.
The route is going to enter the Pehlivanköy borders from Yeşilova village, and will continue to Havsa through the villages of Pursoylı, Pancarköy, Nadırlı, Gazi Kemal, Cehilli, Dindoğru, Minnetler, Ertuğrul, Çengerli and Ağayeri.
On the roads where the project passes, there will be urgent expropriation of the island and parcels.
