Turkey Technology Team (T3 Foundation) and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, under the leadership of 20-23 September, held at the new airport in Istanbul Aviation, Space and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST) began. Intense participation in the festival, especially young people and technology enthusiasts showed great interest.

KENAN SOFUOĞLU and SOLO TURKISH COMPETITION
At the festival, the aerobatic team of the Turkish Armed Forces, Turkish Stars, made a demonstration of great interest. AK Party Deputy and national racer Kenan Sofuoğlu held a breathtaking show race with Solo Turkish aircraft at the festival. Sofuoğlu's motorcycle, Formula 1 vehicle, sports vehicles, Solotürk F-16 aircraft and a business jet were launched simultaneously. Kenan Sofuoğlu, who took place at the airport's runway and with a distance of 400 meters, finished first with a score of 9,43 seconds.
PARTICIPATION FREE
Turkey's national technology moves to realize that participation in the festival is free and is targeted to turn into a society that produces technology. Numerous vehicles and products for the aerospace industry are on display at the festival, which will last until September 23. National technologies can be seen closely with the virtual reality application of the Turkish Armed Forces. The festival, which includes aviation shows and special activities, also hosts technology competitions organized in 12 different categories.
FREE TRANSPORTATION
Bus lines were determined for transportation to TEKNOFEST, which will take four days. IETT: free bus services from 16 centers on the European and Anatolian sides for the participants to go to the festival comfortably and quickly. The hours of the flights arranged between 09.00 and 19.00 in the morning are determined according to the passenger density.
