Akçaray Tram Line is extended from Sekapark to Beach Road by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. In the first stage of Science Center-Schools of Sekapark-Plajyolu line, which is carried out in two stages, the works are mainly carried out. In the first stage of infrastructure works and ground concrete casting, rail laying works are performed. 4 STATION

The new station will be built in the Sekapark-Plajyolu section of the Akçaray Tram line, which is frequently preferred by the citizens in daily use. 4 km-long line, stations, Seka State Hospital, Convention Center, Schools District and Beachway will be located. With the addition of the 2.2 km tram line to the existing tram line 15 km, the length of the tram line in Kocaeli will be increased to 5 km.

NEW LINES TO INTEGRATE

On the other hand, the tram line is spreading throughout the city. According to the project, which was previously awarded, three new lines, including 8 kilometers, will be integrated in the Kuruçeşme, Şehir Hospital and Alikahya stadiums. The Kuruçeşme line will be connected to the Paljyolu tram line by extending the 1 mileage. Alikahya stadium line will reach the current line with Yahya Kaptan by reaching the 3 bin 500 meters.

CITY HOSPITAL AND STADIUM HAT

The 3 bin 500 meter City Hospital line will be connected to the tram line in the Bekirdere region. City Hospital and stadium tram line part will be completed in 120 days. There will be 5 on the hospital line and 7 stop on the 2 Kuruçeşme line on the stadium line. Preliminary project work is also carried out for the 17 kilometer tram line in the direction of Körfez-Derince-İzmit.
