The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality decided to “subsidize m the means of public transport in order not to reflect the cost increase in public transport to the citizens. The report, which was formed with the request of President Uysal, was approved unanimously in the IMM Parliament.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will not reflect the increase in public transportation costs due to economic changes in the market conditions. The report, which was formed as a result of the work initiated with the instruction of the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mevlüt Uysal, was discussed and resolved in the meeting of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in September.

The report, which includes the support of sea public transport, private public buses and Istanbul Otobüs AŞ buses, which are included in the wage integration, supported 55 with each transition head 70, was approved unanimously by the members of the council.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and İETT and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Metro Istanbul and City Lines will not reflect the cost increases to the Istanbulites. The subsidy to 470 million TL will be valid between 1 October 2018 - 30 June 2019.
