A funeral prayer was performed in the factory for Halil Kuzören (49), who lost his life in Karabük Iron and Steel Factories (Kardemir) and died. The steel workers rushed to catch up with their friends' funeral prayers.
Halil Kuzören, married by an electrical maintenance worker and father of 2 children, was struck by a crane in the steel shop on 07.09.2018 while he was doing electrical maintenance. Halil Kuzören, who was taken to Karabük Training and Research Hospital with an ambulance directed to the factory upon the notice of his co-workers, could not be saved despite all the interventions.
Halil Kuzören's family and relatives, Karabük MPs Cumhur Ünal and Niyazi Güneş, Board Members Mustafa Yolbulan and Hüseyin Çağrı Güleç, General Manager Ercüment Ünal, Çelik-İş Secretary General Recep Akyel and Union Karabük Branch President Ulvi Üngören and Branch Board Members, AK Party Karabük Provincial Chairman Av. İsmail Altınöz, representatives of non-governmental organizations, employees and other officials of the company participated. Workers hung their friends' photos on their chests.
After the funeral prayer and prayers performed in Kardemir, the funeral of Halil Kuzören, who was sent off to Yenice, was buried in the Yenice Yazıköy family cemetery after the funeral prayer following the lunch prayer at the Yenice Yeşil Mosque.
