Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is replacing the last old pedestrian bridge over the D-100. The D-100 city crossing, which has built many pedestrian bridges of various sizes, has ensured the flow of pedestrian traffic in the city center divided by D-100. In this context, a pedestrian bridge is being built in the D-100 42 Evler District. When the new bridge is completed, the old pedestrian bridge will be demolished.
USED ON THE CITY
The construction works of the pedestrian bridge are being manufactured. By placing the last deck, the bridge floor will become a whole. The work of the bridge continues. It can be used in the middle of the day and in the middle lift. Stairs will be available on both sides. The central staircase will be built after the collapse of the old bridge after the feast. With the completion of the new bridge, crossings will be carried out safely.

The pedestrian bridge connecting the 42 Houses and the Kandıra region is made of steel. The pedestrian bridge crosses the Salim Dervişoğlu Street and the D-100 Highway and the railway and goes back to İzzet Uzuner Street. The pedestrian bridge with a total length of 88,5 meters is being built in 3 meters wide. There are elevators on both sides of the bridge. While 255 tons of steel materials were used in the scope of work, 540 meter bored piles 400 cubic meter concrete and 45 tons of rebar were used for the foundation.
