InnoTrans 2018 Will Be Held Between 18-21 September in Berlin

InnoTrans 2018, International Railway Technology Systems and Tools Fair, will be held in 18-21 September in Berlin, Germany.

InnoTrans 2018 is the largest trade fair in the world in terms of railway technology, infrastructure, tunnel construction and passenger transportation, and the latest in the world.

This year, more than 3.000 exhibitors in Berlin will present their products at the largest railway event in the world, in 200.000 Halls, on an area of ​​41 square meters, and on 3.500-meter moving rails. 62,3 percent of the participants will travel from abroad to the German capital. There are 60 countries in total, from Egypt and Bahrain to Malaysia, and from Singapore to the United Arab Emirates and Belarus. New Zealand will participate in the fair for the first time.

More than 140 vehicles will be available in the open and track area in about six weeks. These include two-way vehicles, innovative container wagons, passenger wagons, regional trains, double-decker wagons, trams, subways, maintenance vehicles, tunnel cleaning vehicles, rescue vehicles, (hybrid) locomotives, electric motor trains and many more.

For the first time, the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure will participate in the fair with four vehicles. Tatravagónka Poprad is coming to InnoTrans 2018 with six vehicles. Stadler alone is likely to impress the exhibitors with seven offers, from the new S-Bahn (Tram) for Berlin to FLIRT for the Schweizerische Südostbahn. Plasser & Theurer comes with a universal under-rail feeder. To mention a few, Siemens Mobility will exhibit the Metro Inspiro Sofia of its seven vehicles, the Daimler Unimog U 423, and the Vossloh Locomotives company the DE 18 locomotive.

Aptis, ColumBus, E-Solar City, Urbino 12 electric and Trollino 12 will make presentations in the context of Bus Screen Recognition Course and invite trade visitors to a test drive. In the summer garden, 19 exhibitors will present their products on electro mobility.

The idea train of Deutsche Bahn, which shows the future of travel comfort in the train, will be another prominent subject. Among other things, you can do sports here on the way home after work, organize hall meetings or relax in a cabin called Power-Napping.

New, new, innovations and world premieres: Exhibitors at InnoTrans create sparking innovations with fireworks. More than 130 new products will be shown this year, including over 400 world premieres.
