Preparations for the opening of Istanbul New Airport, the biggest aviation project of our country, continue at full speed. The training of the personnel to be employed here is an important part of these studies.

Today, 26 friends who completed the “Square Control Approach Course” were given their diplomas in the ceremony held in the Atatürk Airport training hall.

These friends, who started training on 25.12.2017, joined our army of air traffic controllers at the ceremony held today, and added strength to our strength. Thus, the number of controllers employed for the New Airport has increased to 335 and the number of controllers serving across the country has increased to 1502.

I would like to express my gratitude to the new Airport for the first opening of the 70, followed by 80 and the average 1600 landing-day traffic to our esteemed instructors who will train our air traffic control personnel, and to the other staff and management colleagues who have been communicating their knowledge and experiences.
