The certificate of appreciation was presented by the Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality to the residents of Sarılar District for the sensitive behavior they demonstrated in the search and rescue efforts in the train accident that occurred on 8 July and 24 citizens died.
In the document presented to the neighborhood headman, Fuat Döner, on behalf of the residents of Sarılar District, “On 8 July 2018, our city mobilized all of your opportunities as a residents of Sarılar District in the city of Çorlu District, Sarılar District, and because of your support and sensitive behavior that you have shown in your search and rescue efforts. Making a statement on the subject, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Albayrak stated that Sarılar District showed a great example of humanity and solidarity on 8 July. ”We lost 24 citizens in the train accident. All over Turkey, we had a very painful incident bull laws. We wish mercy from Allah to those who passed away and urgent healing to our wounded. As Trakya as a whole, we clamped and tried to heal the wounds of our citizens. I would also like to thank our residents of Sarılar Mahallesi.
