New Public Transport Route to Bismil District Rural Areas

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality has created a new public transportation route covering the 9 rural neighborhood between the city center and Bismil district in order to provide citizens access to the city centers with their hospital, education, health and commercial needs. 8 thousand 700 citizens will benefit from the route that will provide transportation service.

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality continues to create new routes to ensure that citizens living in rural neighborhoods have not been provided with public transportation services to the city center. Metropolitan Municipality, on the demands of citizens located between the town center and the town of Bismil Desert Agan, Isiklar, Lower Horozlu, Ata Village, Mullah Hamid, Cakalli, Eli Open, Bakacak and started to work in the neighborhood of Darli. The study found that the 9 rural neighborhood located on the old Bismil road, where approximately 2 thousand 81 citizens lived in the 8 thousand 700 households. Metropolitan Municipality has created a new 9 kilometer-long public transportation route to provide transportation services to citizens living in the 58 neighborhood where road conditions are appropriate.

The Metropolitan Municipality also increased the number of two public transportation vehicles that serve upon the intense demands from the citizens living in Çınar district and increased them to three. 18 public transportation services will begin in July on the new routes in the town of Çınar and neighborhoods citizens, hospitals, education, health and commercial needs will be provided to reach the city center.
