Mudanya Municipality's solution plan is insufficient

At the beginning of the 2018, the traffic cycle plan presented to the Ukome Board by the Mudanya Municipality is recommended for the pedestrianization in Halitpaşa and Mustafa Kemal Paşa streets by reference to the Bursa Transportation Master Plan - 2013. According to this; The one-way application of İpar and Değirmendere streets in the east-west direction and the one-way application of the Su Deposu, Engin Adıyaman, Şehit Hakan Tamaç (so-called Ring Road) streets in the direction of Bursa are proposed.

As a result of the measurements and evaluations made in the district about the transportation plan provided by the Mudanya Municipality, it was determined that these suggestions were prepared schematically and that they were not designed in any traffic engineering detail, they were not based on scientific census data and they were communicated to the related persons. In the proposal that was brought from Mudanya Municipality, it was understood that it would create new bottlenecks as it does not create a solution for the need of parking.
