Ankara-Istanbul YHT Line Opened to Train Traffic

According to the statement made by the General Directorate of TCDD, the line was temporarily closed to train traffic from 61 due to excessive precipitation in the 65-19.00th kilometer of the Körfez-Gebze YHT stations of Kocaeli, overflowing over the railway line.

Due to the closure of the mentioned railway line, YHT passengers departing from Ankara at 16.45, 18.20 and 19.20, Pendik and YHT passengers moving from Konya to Pendik at 17.45, were transported by buses between Izmit and Pendik.

Departing from Pendik at 19.35, YHT passengers going to Ankara were transferred by bus between Pendik and Izmit.

RAILWAY LINE REPAIRED

Yesterday (27.07.2018) the railway line between Kocaeli and Körfez-Gebze stations, which were closed to railway traffic due to heavy rain, was reopened to railway traffic after 28.07.2018 hours. Trains continue their flights normally.
