Abdullah Peker, President of the Transport Workers Rights Union, made a statement to support the TÜDEMSAŞ General Directorate.
President Peker, in his written press statement; “The aim of the establishment, which has contributed to the economy of the country, which has been continuing production continuously since 1934, is to support TÜDEMSAŞ General Directorate, which is the production and repair of TCDD, as Sivas people. I would like to invite our deputies to support this deep-rooted organization, which has had problems finding employment because Ankara has been looking at TÜDEMSAŞ for years, together with our Minister of Transport and civil society organizations in Sivas. I hereby declare that we have placed TÜDEMŞAŞ as the first headquarters of our union among our sine qua non. I have no doubt that the organization will work without making any political material without playing the stands, so that the institution can come to the top with its workers, officers and managers.
Considering that TÜDEMSAŞ is currently transferring 10 million TL of hot money per month to Sivas market, we will understand how important this institution is for our city.
TURKEY STRONG STRONG TÜDEMSAŞ
Nobody can privatize TÜDEMSAŞ, which is sometimes made polemic by some politicians and some NGOs. Reminding that Sivas is at the top of the unemployment rate, it will continue production by staying in its place, and I think that it will be an important statement about unemployment by adding new workers to TÜDEMSAŞ.
TÜDEMSAŞ will be the only address for the manufacture of the national wagon. I declare that we will support our General Manager Mehmet Başoğlu on this matter as our union headquarters.
A TÜDEMSAŞ that exploded in target production will eventually remain as TÜDEMSAŞ Sivas and Sivas people. ” said.
