New Terminal Building to Gaziantep Airport

The foundation of the terminal building of Gaziantep Airport with an annual capacity of 5 million passengers will be laid on June 10 with a ceremony attended by our Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Ahmet Arslan.

Gaziantep Airport terminal building and apron construction work will be completed in 600 days. Thus, Gaziantep Airport will have a new domestic terminal with bellows system and a renovated international terminal. With the new terminal building with 8 bellows, the passenger capacity of the airport will increase to 5 million per year.

From Gaziantep Airport, which was put into service in 1976 and located 20 kilometers from the city center, scheduled flights are made to Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus 7 days a week and to Antalya 5 days a week. With the Barrier-Free Airport Establishment Certificate, flights are also organized to some cities in Germany from the airport, which has a "Green Organization" certificate within the scope of the Green Airport Project.
