The foundation of Yozgat Airport, which is included in the scope of an airport project every 100 kilometers, will be laid on June 3 with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ and Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan.
The airport, which will have an annual capacity of 2 million passengers, is planned to be put into operation in 2020.
According to the information received from the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Yozgat Airport, whose foundation will be laid on June 3 with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Bozdağ and Minister Arslan, will be built between Deremumlu and Fakıbeyli, 15 kilometers away from the city center.
Last year, the tender for the construction of the airport, 176,3 million pounds contract for the contract was signed. Steps will be taken for the determination of the quarries to be used in the scope of the work, preparation of site mobilization and application projects.
With the commissioning of Yozgat Airport, each individual using the airline in 2023 will be one step closer to the goal of reaching any airport after covering 100 kilometers.
