GAZIRAY's First 10 Km Stage Will Be Completed By The End Of The Year

Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Ahmet Arslan, in his speech at the Gaziantep Airport terminal building and apron construction groundbreaking ceremony, drew attention to their investments in the transportation field in Gaziantep and stated that they currently have 17 projects in progress and the cost of these is 800 million liras.

Reminding that the 10-kilometer section, the first phase of GAZİRAY, whose foundations were laid in April, will be put into service by the end of the year and the remaining 15 kilometers will be put into service next year, Arslan gave information about their transportation investments to Gaziantep.

Stating that investments continue in the field of railroad, Arslan also stated that the works have started and progressed in the “Gaziantep-Osmaniye-İncirlik-Adana-Mersin High Speed ​​Train Project” and that the price of this project is 3 billion 810 million liras. Arslan said, “We will reduce the distance between Adana and Gaziantep to 235 kilometers. In addition, we are building two tunnels within the scope of Başpınar - Akçagöze Project. We shorten that road by 16 kilometers and we will have access to freight trains in 45 minutes instead of 10 minutes. ” used the expression.

Stating that the work has started in the “Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa Railway Project”, Arslan stated that they have invested in Gaziantep not only in transportation, but also in the field of access, information and communication.
