Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is working on an additional strip in the direction of Ankara between Adnan Menderes Top Pass in D-100 and Turgut Ozal Overpass. Additional lanes to ease the traffic density will be used by public transport. Public transportation stops will also be located on this new addition strip. With the passing of public transport to the additional lane, traffic congestion on the D-100 will be eliminated. Additional lanes, minibuses, buses and service vehicles will allow more comfortable passengers to download and overlay.
ASPHALIZATION STARTED
The floor applications of the additional strip, whose work is in progress, have been completed. One thousand tonnes of PMT was laid on the road section floor. Paving works were started in the section of the road outside the parts under the bridge. A total of a thousand 500 tons of asphalt will be laid on the additional strip of the first floor asphalt. Border and binder and wear asphalt works will be carried out in the strip. Rainwater grill works are also underway. In the scope of the study, the area between the D-100 and the railway is making a new strip. When the project between Adnan Menderes Pedestrian Overpass and Turgut Özal Pedestrian Overpass is completed, the direction of D-100 Ankara will be two lanes from two lanes.
STAIRS AND LIFTS
The new lanes will only be used by public transport and service vehicles. In addition, escalators and elevator systems are provided for elderly and disabled citizens to use stops. Stall locations will also change with the new ribbon to be added. The public house stop will be in front of the İSU promotion station (former Gendarmerie Residences) and the Turgut Özal Overpass stop will be moved across the Ekşi Business Center.
