Green Airport Certificate was given to Balıkesir Central Airport and Green Company Certificate was given to Bingöl Airport. Thus, the number of Green Airport certified airports within the State Airports Authority increased to 5 and the number of Green Enterprise certified airports increased to 45.
The Green Airport (Green Airport) Project is being carried out by SHGM in order to systematically reduce and, if possible, eliminate the damages to the environment and human health by the organizations operating at the airports. In order for an airport to receive the Green Airport erek Green Airport erek title, organizations within the scope of the project operating in the airport must meet the necessary conditions and obtain a ”Green Enterprise Certificate Bir.
Within this scope, DHMI, which brings together the Green Establishment Certified Airport number to 45 together with Bingöl Airport, has 5 airport with Green Airport certificate, including Adana, Tokat, Uşak, Erzincan and most recently Balıkesir Central Airport. The necessary work is also in progress at the 25 airport for the Green Airport certificate.
